Steve,
I believe I'm making some progress. I'm running gpend at the end of the
script, and I know that I'm looking at new gif files - I successively delete
old
ones. Did you try computing wcmp for any other angles besides 90? I ask this
because wouldn't wcmp$90 be the same as uwnd? I can't get wcmp to return
anything other than the u component when changing angles.
I am also suspicious about the data file. I attached the
ascii and gem file I'm using - I created the gem file with snedit in 5.4. I
tried running dcuair, and couldn't since we don't have things set up properly
on
our system. I ran snlist with 5.6h and 5.4 and strangely enough, wcmp$angle was
working okay! I don't know why sncross is having issues. For now I'll just
recreate a new gem file with the snlist output and trick it to plot that.
