Nancy,
Is this a new problem, or has it always been this way?
It could be that your disk filled up, or something unrelated
to GEMPAK.
Have you modified the Garp_defaults from the original settings?
What GOES-10 files are you trying to look at (IR, VIS, WV, floater)?
Are you able to view the model data in "gdcntr" (if not, then Garp
isn't a special case). How about the sat data in gpmap?
Do you have similar problems with NMAP2?
Could you provide the output from "ls -lR" for the $SAT/GOES-10 and
$MODEL directory trees?
