HGHT5 is the 5 wave geopotential height, eg it uses the first 5 (largest)
spectral wave numbers. HGHT is the geopotential height using all wave 
components of the spectral model. Since HGHT includes many more
(T62, T126 and T170 models) wave numbers, it will include more high frequency
noise. HGHT5 will be much smoother and not contain the short wave
contributions.
