Tony,

Your $NWX_TABLES/master.tbl file will have an entry (probably at the bottom)
which looks like:
OBS_METAR    metar.stn    R $RAW_SAO                                 wmo

That will look in the directory defined by $RAW_SAO for files with the
extension .wmo. So, you need to have RAW_SAO defined in your
environment (which you can check in your Gemenviron file). And,
you need your LDM to store the raw metars in that directory with .wmo
extensions.

For what its worth....this will be easier in the new release since NWX
will use the decoded gempak files with the TEXT field.
