20000905: gempak error message



 Tom,

This message mean that you need to clear our some gplt processes.
These could have gotten hung up by not being able to connect to your X server,
running out of system colors etc.

First, kill any orphaned "gplt" "xw" or "gf" processes (shown with the /bin/ps 
-ef
command) then use the ipcrm command to delete the message queue id's shown with
the ipcs command.
