20000628: sfcntr

Clint,

I put together a tar file for a program called sfcntr which will contour
1 of the SFPARM parameters in sfmap. 

This program behaves like oagrid in calculating a mean station spacing
for determining kx;ky (not user specified), and then will grid the parameter
defined by CNTRPRM (which must be one of hte parameters listed in SFPARM).
If you do not want to plot the sfparm values, then set COLOR for that
plotting parameter to 0.

Other parameters are similar to oabsfc and gdcntr (npass, gamma, weight,
cint, line).

If you have a chance, see if this solves your quest for such a program.

Building instructions:
download ~gbuddy/nawips-5.4/contrib/sfcntr.tar.Z into $NAWIPS

Unpack the tarfile with "zcat sfcntr.tar.Z | tar xvf -

Then build and install with:

cd $GEMPAKHOME/source/programs/sf/sfcntr
make clean 
make all
make install
make clean
