20000526: Building NAWIPS on Alpha boxes running Linux

Gregg,

All the Universities have my 5.4 distribution of GEMPAK which
I ported to Linux for f2c and gcc. U. Illinois has reportedly done some
work with Linux on the Alphas and pg77.
