20000522: GEMPAK

Richard,

You are correct. I add features for the universities that we serve
that are dependent on the types of data that we deliver to them.
For instance, lightning, acars, profiler and other data sets that we
send via our IDD to universities are unique to our situation and not generally
of interest to NCEP which can obtain the data from other sources or in other 
formats.

A new release is in the works, maybe by fall.
