Hi Roy,

We're about to release a new version of the idl-client for
OPeNDAP. The new client code functions the same as the old client
code but uses a new C API we've been developing that provides DAP
access, similar to the existing C++ and Java DAP class libraries.
Currently we're resolving a problem in the C API that affects
accessing attributes, and waiting for that be resolved before
releasing the code. I have the code built and working on a Mac OS/X
running IDL-6.3, we should be able to provide both Intel-based and
PowerPC-based binary versions for the Mac once this last problem is
resolved.

          Dan
