Re: Server4 test server

Hi James,

1) Wonder if it would be worth getting rid of the "Get Binary" button on the IFH that comes up at this site?

2) Also, is there any way to have the server deal with files that are not OPeNDAP accessible. For example, in the ff directory at the site that you list below, if the user clicks on one of the .fmt files, an error is returned. Is it too complicated to say something like this file not being accessible via OPeNDAP?

3) Finally, is there a way to exercise the THREDDS view of this site, or is this what I'm seeing when I click on the link below?

Hi,

Several people have asked if there are any public sites running server4. I have one running in my office at http://comet.opendap.org:8080/opendap/. The link http://comet.opendap.org:8080/opendap/s4/ puts you at the top of the data root.

At this time I have only the netcdf and freeform data working; we will have the hdf4 handler setup once we figure out how to get it to work along side the netcdf handler.

The general URL for Trac is  http://scm.opendap.org:8090/trac/.
