Re: nc_get_var functions return 1001 sometimes

Hi all,

I want to know what is the origin of the data
which filled this variable "_id".

What is the relation between "_id" and the data ?
Does it be an unique identifier made from a counter ?
Does it be fulfilled with data from the netcdf file ?

So you can see here the only answer i found on the Dapper Website :
"# The id variable must be named _id. This value must be unique and is used to retreive the inner sequence." (http://www.epic.noaa.gov/epic/software/dapper/dapperdocs/metadata.html)

Thanks .

Forest Arnaud
