I've set up a test data server and included a range of different data sets. Right now this does not include the DTS (the java-based test server), but it will soon enough. The URL is http://test.opendap.org/opendap/nph-dods/data/ or http://test.opendap.org/opendap-3.4/nph-dods/data/. As we make new releases, I'll add those as well. The test.opendap.org/opendap/... URL will always point to the current non-beta C++ server.

I should have the DTS up within a week.

You can use a web browser to look at the various data sets and then build up tests for clients, et cetera.
