Bhavani,
modes were made to the decoder package for the curvilinear file that you referenced in your msg. There
is a problem, the GDS section doesn't have enough information to be able to render the file. ie
grid_type = 204
grid_name = Curvilinear Orthogonal Grid
grid_shape_code = 6
grid_shape = Earth spherical with radius of 6371229.0 m
radius_spherical_earth = 6371229.0
Nx = 1200
Ny = 1684
ResCompFlag = 8
Winds = True
ScanningMode = 64
Quasi = false
There was some info on the web about these grids, they needed more info to be complete.
