[Datastream #SLX-828709]: Missing

Hi Sandra,

Yes, we are aware of your access of GOES-East and West imagery on our
ingest machines, goeseast.unidata.ucar.edu and goeswest.unidata.ucar.edu.

OK.

No, not really other than recently we have had some rain and snow events
that have increased the noise level on our data ingest machines, and
this, in turn, has resulted in some scans containing noise or, in
the worst cases, being unusable.

Yes.

re:

The images that one can access on our GOES-GVAR ingest machines are
classified into datasets (e.g., CONUS, NH, SH, FD) by their coverages.
This means, for instance, that a FD image will show up in a SH dataset
because it includes the expected SH coverage. There is no processing
on the ingest machines that would result in subsets of the scans that
are being received.

re:

No worries.
Cheers,

Tom
