Hi Jasmine, 

Apologies for the confusion. Select the actual file you desire instead of going 
to "file access"

i.e select:

WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2

..from the individual dataset you will find the many options of how to access 
that file:

(for example)

Access:

   1. OPENDAP: 
/thredds/dodsC/fmrc/NCEP/WW3/Regional_Eastern_Pacific/files/WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2
   2. HTTPServer: 
/thredds/fileServer/fmrc/NCEP/WW3/Regional_Eastern_Pacific/files/WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2
   3. WCS: 
/thredds/wcs/fmrc/NCEP/WW3/Regional_Eastern_Pacific/files/WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2
   4. WMS: 
/thredds/wms/fmrc/NCEP/WW3/Regional_Eastern_Pacific/files/WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2
   5. NetcdfSubset: 
/thredds/ncss/grid/fmrc/NCEP/WW3/Regional_Eastern_Pacific/files/WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2
   6. CdmRemote: 
/thredds/cdmremote/fmrc/NCEP/WW3/Regional_Eastern_Pacific/files/WW3_Regional_Eastern_Pacific_20100428_1200.grib2


..and it is here where I ~think you will want to do the netCDF subset of your 
desired parameters. 

Once the netCDFsubset is selected you will get a list off all available 
parameters to include in the dataset you will be creating.
