Hi Walter,

Tom Yoksas, head of Support, Unidata and I talked with Fred Branski earlier this week, and we were discussing the mechanism for resolving additions to NOAAPORT data transmission, including data drop outs. He suggested that we contact you to seek assistance. There are two topics I'd like to cover in this email.

1) Christian Page, Universite du Quebec a Montreal, Canada--As you can see below, the email is about METARS that we think should be included in the data stream/NOAAPORT. We would certainly appreciate it if you could check into this for us.

New Ticket: SAEU collectives

Hi,

I have noticed that in the Unidata stream, it seems that some METAR
collectives are not going through.
By example, these observations don't seem to be there:

I cannot find, by example, LELO in any of my observation files created by
ldm.

Any info on this?

2)  Rich Signell, WHOI, asks if the following data can be added to NOAAPORT:

Anyway, the remaining data feeds we want to get are Wavewatch 3, which
is already available, and the NCEP Ocean RTOFS Hycom model, which I
don't think is available anywhere on the IDD. Is this something
you can request, Linda, or is there some other procedure?
