I have looked through the log files generated by our NOAAPort ingest system
for the NWSTG2 channel of NOAAPort. The earliest forecast hour I found
for NDFD grids was +84. This agrees with your observation about the holdings
on motherlode.ucar.edu and on your own NOAAPort ingester.

I did not see anything in this page that states that all of those products
are/should be available in NOAAPort.

I do not see any indications that there are errors in processing GRIB2 messages
being delivered in the NOAAPort NWSTG2 channel. The contents of this of NWSTG2
are packaged into the IDD NGRID datastream; presumably this is where you are
finding the NDFD grids for forecast days 3.5+ (84 hours+).

I agree. The URL you provided suggests that the products should be made
available
every three hours with LOTS more forecast hours than what we are seeing.

I will keep digging into this to see if I can learn anything concrete.

Cheers,

Tom
