[Datastream #TVM-187420]: USPLN feed test and decoder info



Hi Chris,

I think you will be interested in a plot of 17.8M USPLN flashes!

Attached is a McIDAS display of USPLN total flash (stroke?) data for the 7.5
day period spanning 1:27 Z on 10 July, 2007 until 14:28 Z on 17 July, 2007.
As a reminder, the purpose of the image is to visually demonstrate the
difference in USPLN data in the box covering the CONUS (20N to 50N and 65W to 125W).

The question remains: what is the difference in processing inside and outside of this
box?
