Hi Andy,

>Thanks for your reply. It appears that your fix has nearly solved the
>problem. I checked out our satellite imagery page this morning and it
>appears that most of the imagery is coming in (and the archived imagery,
>which saves the last week or so of hourly images, indicates that it has
>been stable for a day or so.

Sounds good. I felt confident that I had fixed the problems in the
injection routines last Thursday.

>The only category that doesn't appear to be
>updating is the GOES East water vapor images. However, the GOES west
>water vapor channel is updating. You can see what I mean at
>http://twister.sbs.ohio-state.edu/satellite.html.

Please check your ~ldm/etc/pqact.conf decode entry for GOES-East WV
images, and/or your procedure for populating your web page. The
GOES-East WV image went from having a resolution of 8 km to having a
resolution of 4 km. I just checked the stores off of one or the ADDE
servers we maintain, adde.ucar.edu, and see that the GE-WV imagery has
been coming in with no problems since my changes last Wednesday night.

While you are at it, please look for any problems that may arise when
the coverage of the GOES-East sectors extend to cover South America (at
least when the southern GOES scans are made). This change will occur
before the end of January.

>Thanks again for your help.

No worries.

Cheers,

Tom
