Jennie,

You need to email the SSEC Data Center:

address@hidden

and request that the day(s) you want to retrieve data from is restored
back to disk. There are two options in play here since you are at an
.edu site:

- retrieve data from the Unidata-Wisconsin datastream archive

- get data out of the full SSEC GOES archive

The first option will be quickly fulfilled, and you will then
be able to get the data:

machine: unidata2.ssec.wisc.edu
user: XXXXXX
pass: XXXXXX
directory: urequest/...

Experience shows that the second option will take a lot longer mainly
since SSEC is providing this service free-of-charge so it gets pushed
to the bottom of their priority list. It does, however, offer access
to the full suite of GOES data.

>Thanks for the help!

No worries.
