Satellite Derived Winds from GOES-9 now available...




Hello,

Thanks to help from folks here at the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS), we now have cloud drift and water vapor satellite derived winds from the GOES-9 satellite, which has replaced GMS-5, covering the New Zealand sector towards Victoria Land, Antarctica.
