Hi,

I just got the following message regarding the MDR products absence from
the Unidata-Wisconsin data feed. I verified that the data are not coming
in:

IMGLIST RTIMAGES/MDR.ALL
Image file directory listing for:RTIMAGES/MDR

  10 GRAPHICS 25 FEB 00056 21:59:00 38 98 1
IMGLIST: done

The listing shows that something apparently got stuck back at 22Z on Feb. 25.

Any help you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

A month ago we stopped getting the MCIDAS AREA0202 data from the LDM
stream. A week or so later, it began coming in again. It looks like
we're having the same problem now, data stopped soming in on 2/25. We
use the radar data for the DataStreme project. Have you experienced the
same loss of data?

We're planning on using your gempak program to plot the RCM bulletins,
hopefully replacing this MCIDAS stuff, but we haven't gotten around to
it yet.

Do you know who I should contact at SSEC about this data?

Thanks,

Tim Alberta

Yes, our programmer is looking into the MDR problem. Hopefully it will be
corrected today.

Thank you.
