[AWIPS #JZQ-231701]: Assistance Regarding the Installation of AWIPS II

Hello Siddharth,

The error that you see is due to your local LDM being unable to request data 
from the remote Unidata IDD server. Unidata allows LDM data access to 
Universities and some research organizations, but not to private entities and 
international groups. Because you are not a US-based University, you will have 
to arrange for your own upstream LDM data feed rather than request from 
idd.unidata.ucar.edu.

Unidata does make available a cloud-based EDEX data server which you are able 
to request data from and display in the AWIPS II CAVE client.  Please look 
through the CAVE installation guide for instructions on how to connect to this 
server: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/awips2/doc/cave_install.html
