WWW Data Catalogs
A few examples of data catalogs and data libraries for which WWW
access is available:
- NOAA
Cooperative Center for Access and Visualization of Distributed
Climatological Data
- Access to climatological in a form agreed upon by participants
from five different institutions. Here's an example of live access
to climate data.
- LDEO
Climate Group
- An oceanographic data collection that permits searching by
keyword or variable, lists datasets by category or source, and
includes samples of what can be done with the Data Catalog. The
Data Catalog is both a catalog and a library of datasets, i.e. it
both helps you figure out which data you want, and helps you work
with the data. The interface allows you to make plots, tables, and
files from any dataset, its subsets, or processed versions
thereof.

Earth Science Data Services

package.
- Earth
and Space Science Data Centers
- Another large list of WWW addresses for data centers
- NOAA

references to data.
