Coordinated with PIs and Unidata Admin staff to faciliate Unidata's role
in hosting a 2-1/2 day technical workshop for the DODS developers in January

THREDDS
Technical Task Force Workshop, being held in Boulder 6-8 May, 2002. Planning
and coordination with THREDDS technical staff, Ben Domenico and Sherri C..
Approximately 28 collaborators and partners have been invited to attend the
meeting.
Case Studies and DODS
Hired Yuan Ho, SW Engineer II, to work on the Case Studies and DODS support
Ethan Davis is dividing his time between DODS and THREDDS
Jeff Weber is dividing his work schedule between Case Studies and IDD-LDM
support (including SuomiNet)

Data Access and Distribution
Continued efforts on CRAFT Level II (base) data access and distribution.
There are currently 30 radars
sending data (via LDM) to NCDC's mass store
Coordinated with NOAA's NWS to set up an FTP site for the ORPG software
to be used for Level II data-when the announcement is released, the software
will be a "community-supported" software
Coordinated a CONDUIT
meeting held in Orlando on 16 January 2002
Worked with Jim Steenburgh, Unidata Users Committee member, on a community
announcement for data availability during the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake
City
Coordinated with Richard Hogue, Canadian Meteorological Center, for GEM
model data distribution, now that open access and distribution is viable.
A community announcement is being prepared. Steve Chiswell is the technical
lead.
