Recent Additions to the Library

• COMET Case Study 041: Southern California Severe Weather 2-3 September, 1998
• COMET Case Study 042: Kansas Winter Storm 28-30 January, 2002 [UPC Case]
• COMET Case Study 043: Colorado Fire/Kansas Severe Weather 10-13 June, 2002 [UPC Case]

Recent Changes in the Case Study Project

• A major task of the case study project is adding new decoder capabilities.
• This is in hopes of creating THREDDS-like access and ADDE-like IDV access to these datasets.
• Currently we are working on testing and installing these decoders into the CODIAC system.

Future

• Currently working on releasing the next UPC case "Fall Tornado Outbreak, Nov. 2002".
• Continue to collaborate with COMET to release their next WES case "Southern Illinois Supercells: 21 April 2002" (available soon).
• We continue to look towards our user community for input regarding lab exercises and curriculum development for the cases developed at the UPC.
