RAMADDA RAMADDA is a web-based, comprehensive content repository, publishing platform and collaboration environment for the Earth Sciences.

Case Studies Project

Case Studies A variety of meteorological case studies of unique atmospheric phenomena are hosted on Unidata's RAMADDA server.

The use of RAMADDA allows users to contribute back either additional datasets relevant to the case study, curriculum, or their own perspectives of an event, thus allowing for a dynamic case study that can grow and be enriched over time.

    RAMADDA version 1.3 is now available. The new version has a number of new features, including:

    • Google Earth plugin integration and improved maps
    • NLAS/RAMADDA LiDAR data services
    • Lots of bug fixes and documentation
    • New and improved Wiki facilites
    • Page styles

  • RAMADDA project now Open Source RAMADDA project now Open Source
    December 1, 2010

    In order to better serve the Unidata community, the RAMADDA code base has been released as an Open Source project. Unidata Program Center developers will continue to participate in the RAMADDA project by supporting our user community and contributing to the Open Source development effort. By opening up the project to the Open Source commuinty, Unidata hopes to encourage broader participation that will ensure the future success of RAMADDA.

    RAMADDA downloads are now available through the RAMADDA SourceForge site.
