17.11 The NetCDF C/Fortran/C++ Libraries on Windows
The netCDF C/Fotran/C++ libraries are built and tested daily on
Windows with Visual Studio 2008.
- A win32/NET/netcdf.sln file allows you to build the netCDF C
library with visual studio 2008.
- Previous versions of Visual Studio are no longer supported.
- Cygwin also provides an easy path to building and using netCDF on
windows.
- The C++ and F90 APIs have never been ported to a Microsoft
compiler. They do work under cygwin.
