  • NUJAN NetCDF Writer Library 1.4.1 NUJAN NetCDF Writer Library 1.4.1

    The UCAR Research Applications Laboratory (RAL) has released Nujan version 1.4.1. Nujan is a pure Java writer for HDF5 and NetCDF4 files. Nujan is 100% open source and is released under the MIT license. Nujan is intended to be useful in situations where portability and a simplified development process are more important than access to the complete HDF5 feature set.

  • Netcdf-Java library version 4.2.27 Netcdf-Java library version 4.2.27

    Netcdf-Java library version 4.2.27 is now released at:

    http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/netcdf/netcdf-java-4/index.jsp

    This is mostly a bug fix and supporting changes for TDS release 4.2.9. You are encouraged to use it for all things netCDF Java-ish.

    All new development is now happening on version 4.3, for which there will be an alpha release very soon.

Low list traffic 		netcdf-porting is an unmoderated mailing list for questions and discussion of porting netCDF to new platforms. Although we try to support most platforms, it is not possible for Unidata to support all platforms. Currently supported netCDF platforms can be found on the daily testing web pages for netCDF-3 and netCDF-4. All other platforms are unsupported. Since netCDF has already been ported to many platforms, getting it to build and test on a new platform is usually not difficult. Bug reports (including build problems on currently supported platforms) should be sent to support-netcdf@unidata.ucar.edu. General purpose discussion of netCDF should take place in the netcdfgoup mailing list.
