2008 Unidata NetCDF Workshop for Developers and Data Providers > Introduction
1.1 Goals of the Workshop
The goals of this workshop are to make participants aware of the
current state of netCDF and how to use the format, APIs, and
utilities.
- The material is intended for developers, data providers, and
authors of metadata conventions.
- Another goal is to get feedback about problems
users have with netCDF software and documentation.
- We're especially interested in your opinions on development priorities.
- Participants should learn about the strengths and limitations of
netCDF. We're not trying to recruit new users (we already have too many
users :-)
