Tools

Commands in this category manipulate tools like the F Key Menu system, Soft Tablet, McBASI programs, BATCH files, strings, command schedulers and saved loops. These tools can be used to help simplify or automate complicated procedures. This category also includes commands to start the McIDAS-X GUI.

Command Purpose
ASK1 Defines a question to prompt the user for string input.
BATCH Runs commands serially from a text file.
DEFLOOP Lists, saves and restores loops.
GUI Starts the McIDAS-X Graphical User Interface.

LOOPIT

Runs a command on each frame in a loop.

MCEVAL Runs a McIDAS command substituting McIDAS string values.

MCGUI

Starts the UPC McIDAS-X Graphical User Interface.

MCMENU Starts the F Key Menu System.
MOVIE Displays a sequence of loops.
REPEAT Repeats a McIDAS command.
RUN Runs a McBASI program.
SKE Enters a McIDAS command in the system command scheduler.
SKED Starts a scheduler process.
SKL Lists command scheduler entries.
SKU Command scheduler utility.
TD Deletes one or more strings from the current string table.
TE Enters a string in the string table.

TENTER

Enter strings defined in text file into the string table.

TL Lists the strings in a string table.
TU String table utility.

VRTIMG

Merges a virtual graphic with an area (non-ADDE).

WAIT

Pause a user-specified interval of time.
