Unidata McIDAS-X Training Workshop

This workshop and the associated materials are designed to give you an introduction to using, installing, and configuring McIDAS. Many of the links in these pages came from other on-line documents (i.e., the Unidata McIDAS-X Learning Guide and the Unidata McIDAS-X User's Guide).

Conventions

The following typographical conventions are used in the Unidata McIDAS Learning Guide:

bold	McIDAS keyboard entries appear in bold; type these entries exactly as they appear
italics	variables that you must enter, such as command parameters, appear in italics
`Courier bold`	file names, system variables, directories, paths, program names and operating-system-level commands appear in this font
