The Unidata McIDAS-XCD software is bundled with Unidata McIDAS-X. It is built after Unidata McIDAS-X since it depends on the existence of the Unidata McIDAS-X library, libmcidas.a.
When the build is complete, the helps, data, and binaries are installed in the directories ~mcidas/help, ~mcidas/data, and ~mcidas/bin, respectively.
