HELP lists the contents of command 's help file. The help file must have the extension .hlp and must reside in a directory in the REDIRECT list or in a directory in the MCPATH environment variable.

To display help for a McBASI program with a name identical to a McIDAS command, you must include the .MCB extension with the program name.

You can list an abbreviated HELP (the command syntax) while entering a command from the keyboard. After typing the command name or more,

Press: ALT ?

This entry lists the first line of all help files in the REDIRECT list and MCPATH directories.

HELP CUR

This entry lists the online documentation for the McIDAS command CUR.

HELP WHO.MCB
