Administrative Utilities

Commands in this category configure the McIDAS session so it can access data on other workstations, or share data with other workstations.

Command

Purpose

ADDEINFO

Display formatted ADDE transaction log records.

AKA

Adds, dele tes and lists aliases for dataset names.

DATALOC

Manages and lists the client routing table.

DSINFO

Lists datasets on local and remote servers.

DSSERVE

Manages and lists dataset names on the local server.

REDIRECT

Writes the LW file path redirection memory block.

ROUTE

Routing table (ROUTE.SYS) utility.

SYSKEY

Sets system values for local McIDAS workstation networks.

SYSVAL

SYSKEY utility.

UCU

Inspects the User Common (UC) memory block.

UPRTE

Update the system routing table (ROUTE.SYS) for a particular product.
