2009-11-23 New LibCF Alpha Release
The alpha-5 release includes the a revised gridspec tool integration. This code is still under active development. Download the source distribution as a gzipped tar file
2009-04-13 New LibCF Alpha Release
For those interested in grids, the alpha-4 release includes the start of the gridspec tool integration. Note that the included gridspec integration is as yet untested and decidedly experimental, and is provided for developers to participated in early architecture decisions. 2006-11-22 alpha4 released
libcf-1.0 alpha4 is now available. It includes functions for handling unitless vertical dimensions (see Appendix D of the CF Conventions).
2006-09-13 alpha3 released
libcf-1.0 alpha3 is now available. It includes functions for handling extra CF file and variable metadata, and coordinate variables.
2006-05-01 Name Changed to libcf, alpha2 released
NCCFLIB has changed its name to libcf; the alpha2 release reflects this change.
2006-05-09 NCCFLIB web site
The NCCFLIB web site has been created to assist with the development of a C/Fortran library which help scientists read and write files in accordance with the CF Metadata Conventions.
