Installing from Source-Code

Given the variety of UNIX^®-like operating systems, we recommend that the LDM system be installed from the source-code distribution. See LDM Basics: LDM Source-Code Installation for instructions.

Installing LDM Documentation

Installing LDM documentation is optional because all of it is already available on-line and the on-line version can be more up-to-date than a local copy of the documentation.
