Unidata has been providing a myriad of information relating to the IDD in the WWW. In addition to the LDM5 Site Manager's Guide required for the installation of the IDD, there's information on ingesting the Unidata/Wisconsin data stream for OS/2 sites here.

We are evaluating options for sites unable to connect to the IDD with the required hardware/software. As the evaluation unfolds, we will keep you apprised of the developments.
