1 GEMPAK Workshop Description and Overview

Workshop Organization


For each section:


The following goals should be met at the completion of this workshop:
  1. The user should be familiar with the purpose and use of the applications.
  2. Attendees will understand the resources available through the applications and the Unidata community.
  3. Additional resources such as COMET case studies will be introduced.
  4. The user will gain understanding in the design and implementation of package.
  5. The types of data which can imported into the applications should be understood.
  6. Attendees should be able to write simple batch scripts.
  7. Users should feel confident in maintaining their package.
