4.3 GEMPAK Environmental Variables
GEMPAK environment variables are used by GEMPAK to find needed executable, table, parameter, error, help, and map files without requiring user input. In addition, environment variables save you some typing in your everyday usage of GEMPAK.

Here are a few of the GEMPAK environmental variables that are set in the GEMPAK environment

In addition to GEMPAK environmental variables you may also reference your own environmental variables from your user shell within the user interface.
