9.6.1 GARP Image Display
GARP can display an image such as a radar or satellite image, then overlay other types of data such as gridded contours, streamlines or vectors, surface or upper air data, and station location annotation.

If the data values are difficult to view over a very active satellite or radar image, you may adjust the intensity of the image pixels using the fade bar on the menu bar.
