9.6.0 GARP Menu bar and Footer
GARP uses a menu bar to allow the use to select from the various types of data available.

The footer panel of GARP provides status information, including current time, X & Y cursor position, Latitude & Longitude or the cursor position, and values of the image pixel at the cursor location. Raw values and translated reflectivity, wind speed, or brightness temperature are shown.

By single clicking the mouse withing the view region, a cross hair is marked. The status bar will then show distance from the cursor to that location in the image.

Double clicking within the image automatically zooms on that point. Alternatively, a rubber band box may be drawn around a region using the left mouse button.
