Okay everything should be set, but display again to check.

Now, run the program and enter the carriage return. This will be your last chance to check to make sure the map is set correctly, which can save you time when the map/graph is very complex:

 GEMPAK-SFMAP>r

Warning:
  1. If you receive many warnings saying colors are equal to each other, your X-server may have run out of colors. (One warning is ok, don't worry about it; 30 warnings is bad!) Try closing other applications that use lots of colors. If you have an image "on root", you may have to remove it. After reducing your color usage, run GPEND and try the GEMPAK program again.
  2. If the GEMPAK XWindow pops up on top of your GEMPAK text window, you will have to click on the window bar of the text window to continue typing. This is to remind you to...
  3. RUN GPEND WHEN YOU'VE FINISHED!!
