Hi Luke,

When do you call your latMap.getAxisScale()? As far as I know you have
to add your maps to your display before calling getAxisScale() (Please
correct me if I'm wrong). I am using lat-/lon-Maps, too. And I
recognized no problems with getAxisScale() since I call this when my
display is fully initialized, e.g. data and maps are set.
