Hi John,

Does this problem happen with every dataset you try, or does it only
happen with a few, or sporadically?  My guess is that the SpreadSheet
is not removing the ScalarMaps from the old 3-D display before it
adds them back to the new 2-D display.  But as Bill said, we can't
duplicate the problem on our machines here.

What platform are you running on, which versions of the JDK and Java3D
are you running, and are you running the latest version of VisAD?
