The javadocs are available in a jar file, linked from the
VisAD web page (the link is in the second to last line under
the "Documentation" section. I just updated the javadoc jar
file.
We also recommend using the VisAD Developers Guide. And Ugo
Taddei is about to release an initial version of a tutorial
he has been developing.
