Hi Ivan, Kyle,actually, we have already integrated the new arrow styles in our current development version: 4.3.13 (available here: ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/thredds/4.3/current/thredds.war) Those styles are not declared into the WMS capabilities document yet and are: barb, stumpvec, trivec, linevec, fancyvec and you can use them in the same fashion you use the vector style, so in the styles param of the WMS request instead of using vector/boxfill you can use barb/boxfill and so on. I've attached some images with examples so you can see how those styles look like.
