Sorry, that directory is part of an alpha test. It will have no effect.
Ill get it fixed in next release.

When I changed this to an actual directory the error went away, but I
think I will see this later when I deploy a new thredds.war. Kind of
a hackish, but makes that error go away.

I am investigating a problem with TDS caching and in my

That directory path appears nowhere in any of my TDS configuration
files. How do I override that path? What is the configuration
element in threddsConfig.xml?
By the way, I'm running TDS 4.2.9.
