[thredds] THREDDS WCS in a production environment [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi

We are planning of using thredds to serve WCS. But the following link from the 
unidata site says "The THREDDS WCS server is considered experimental, do not 
rely on it in a production environment"

We are interested on knowing whether this statement is valid and if it is valid 
what are the reasons for saying thredds is not suitable for production purposes.
