*Details of the Outage:*

*OSO/SOCC* will be performing a GOES-11 telemetry, command, and 
GVAR test with the Fairbanks CDA ground station.  This test is being 
performed to validate that Fairbanks can be used as an operational 
back-up to Wallops, especially critical during hurricane season. 


*Data Affected by the Outage:*
GOES-11

June 28, 2007
15:50z   Command hand-over to Fairbanks
16:56z   PDR/GVAR fail-over to Fairbanks

21:45z    Command hand-over to Wallops
22:56z   PDR/GVAR fail-over to Wallops

The Wallops CDA station and SOCC will continue to ingest GVAR during 
the entire test.  There should be no effect on your products or users 
however, if problems are experienced during the test, we will fail 
back to Wallops within minutes.  SOCC will monitor the GVAR data on 
our RPMs.
